Changes to products

On 4 April 2016, Just Retirement Group plc and Partnership Assurance Group plc merged to form JRP Group plc. Following the merger, there were changes to the products offered by Just Retirement and Partnership to the intermediary market. These changes took effect on 30 April 2016, and are outlined in the table below.

  • Quotes for new business are now issued by Just Retirement Limited using Just Retirement's GIfL solution.
  • Partnership quotes that were issued before 30 April and still within the rate guarantee period will be honoured, and Partnership's pipeline of business will be eligible to complete through the Partnership product.

Lifetime Mortgages
  • Quotes for branded new business are now issued by Just Retirement Money Limited using Just Retirement's Lifetime mortgage solutions.
  • Partnership quotes that were issued before 30 April and still within the rate guarantee period will be honoured, and Partnership's pipeline of business will be eligible to complete through the Partnership product.

Care Plans / Immediate Needs Annuity
  • Quotes for new business for Care annuities from IFAs/financial Intermediaries are now issued by Partnership Life Assurance Partnership's care solutions.
  • Just Retirement quotes that were issued before 30 April and still within the rate guarantee period will be honoured, and Just Retirement's pipeline of business will be eligible to complete through the Just Retirement product.
